My little Lion

Well, we've been back in VA Beach since the 7th of August and things are moving along! We found out that we're having a little girl and I'm very excited for her to come! Wow, it'll be nice to have a girl around!
I've worked a lot of jobs in my lifetime (started my first job when I was 10 at a pet shop in my local town) and I have determined that being a stay at home mom is the toughest, most draining, and tiring job around. However, it is the most rewarding position I have ever been given. My son is such a gift to us and he delights us everyday. It's fun being a first time parent and learning what's best for your child. There are hard days, busy days, hormonal days, but there are mostly rewarding days. Judah is a lion who is full of strength, fire, fierceness and he for sure has a fight in him. The best moments is when he locks eyes with you from across the room and runs as fast as he can towards you and just wraps his arms around your neck and ends his dramatic entrance with a big spontaneous kiss.

He's going to love being a big brother and he'll take good care of his little sister. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago at the beach. He LOVES the water. He has always loved the water! Tonight after his bath, he was having his nakey time like he does every night and he started to pee on the carpet. He just starred in amazement and I explained to him what he was doing. He thought going potty was pretty cool :) The toilet is soon to follow ;)

Well, I'm pregnant and tired. Must retire for tonight. Will try to write more soon!

Hugs and love!

Colorado days

Well, we've been in Colorado for a month and a half and things are going great. Nathan got his internship extended for another month and what a blessing it is! He is doing great at his job and enjoying it a lot! Judah is 18 months old now. Gosh, how time flies by. He is talking like crazy and has some very strong views on life :) We just entered into our second trimester and I am feeling sooooo much better! We'll be twenty weeks pregnant when we get back to Virginia Beach. We've had so much fun seeing family and friends here but I do miss our home in Virginia some ...

Nathan climbed Longs Peak this summer with his Dad, his good friend Jonathan, his little brother Michael and his girlfriend Amy on his 28th birthday. I wanted to go, but I got told no cause I'm prego ... next summer I'm going :)

Anyway, got to take my little guy outside to play! Will write more later!
